SOUTH BROADWAY NEPA PROCESS
CLIENT: CITY & COUNTY OF DENVER
The South Broadway Environmental Assessment is a project whose purpose is to relieve congestion and provide multimodal transportation to an area in south Denver. As a project with high visibility, it was important that all graphics were clear and concise, and that there were obvious and straightforward methods for the public to provide feedback. We developed several sets of flipcharts for one public meeting earlier in the project that showed various alternatives and allowed the public to draw their own ideas directly on maps of the study area. We also periodically produced a newsletter directed to the project working group that filled them in on recent developments in the project. This helped maintain communication amongst the various agencies involved.
